Unilens Vision Inc. said it acquired Aero Contact Lens Inc., a specialty gas permeable contact lens manufacturer.

The purchase price was not disclosed in a release announcing the deal.

Unilens Vision bought the assets of Aero Contact Lens including regulatory approvals, customer lists and trade names such as V/X Multifocal, the Aspirations Multifocal and the R-2000 Keratoconus Lens, the release said. The lenses will be manufactured and marketed under their pre-existing product brand names in Unilens’ manufacturing facility in Largo.

Aero’s Michigan office will remain open for customer service and consultation, the release said.

Unilens Vision (OTC Bulletin Board: UVICF; TSX Venture Exchange: UVI) develops, licenses, manufactures, distributes and markets specialty contact lenses and is the parent company of Unilens Corp.
